Why volunteer with BDA?

Being a volunteer is an adventure that calls for patience, respect, and a genuine willingness to understand. At Bad Dog Arts, we believe in the power of art to change lives, strengthen communities, and even shift the world in meaningful ways.

Like any great adventure, volunteering comes with real responsibilities and honest realities alongside the joy and creativity. At times, the work can be challenging, unglamorous, and hands-on. But the experiences, connections, and moments of inspiration along the way are deeply rewarding.

What BDA volunteers do?

• Assist with After-school Art Classes
• Assist with In-School Programs
• Assist with Art Camps + Workshops
• Be an Art Buddy to young artists
• Assist with Special Events or Outreach
• Help with Administrative / Office Work
• Photo Documentation
• Organizing + Prep work
• Wherever I am most needed

What are the age requirements

Teens Age 16 - 17 and Adults 18+
*Background Check Required

Volunteer opportunities are also available for youth under 16 - contact us for more information at program@baddogarts.org

* Please note that Bad Dog Arts must perform a background check. Your information is kept confidential and not shared with anyone other than the agency(s) providing the required background checks.
